Following the success of last year’s launch in New York, NORQAIN unveils two striking editions of the Independence Skeleton Chrono 42mm in Grade 5 Titanium, now with vibrant purple and jade green accents. Both models are powered by the exclusive NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre, a mechanical automatic flyback chronograph featuring a column wheel for precise activation. The 42mm Grade 5 titanium case provides strength while remaining lightweight at just 94 grams. The jade green model boasts a special DLC coating for enhanced durability and stealth, complemented by a satin-finished skeletonized black and jade green dial. The jade tone, also featured in the animal-cruelty-free rubber strap, draws inspiration from natural jade stones. This limited edition of 500 pieces is individually numbered with an engraved case back reading “Limited Edition ONE of 500.”
The NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1) offers a 62-hour power reserve, chronometer certification (COSC), and a flyback chronograph for instant resetting and restarting. The movement includes 31 rubies, a bi-directional automatic winding system, and a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). The watch’s dial is highlighted by a satin-finished skeletonized jade green design, with white minute scales on a jade green outer ring, black counters at 6 and 12 o’clock, and diamond-cut flat indexes and hands—all gunmetal-plated and filled with white X1 Super-LumiNova® for maximum legibility.
The 42mm Grade 5 titanium case is 13.90mm thick, with a width of 22mm between lugs and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49.80mm, ensuring a comfortable fit. With 100m water resistance, a screw-down crown with the NORQAIN logo, and an engraved black DLC titanium plate on the left side of the case, this watch is as robust as it is refined. The double anti-reflective, scratch-proof sapphire glass on both the front and open case back showcases the “Limited Edition One of 500” engraving, adding a unique touch to this exceptional timepiece.
