The Orthodox cross is a variation of the Christian cross. It is also known from the 6th century in the Byzantine Empire and is recognized by the 3 horizontal beams, instead of just one beam as is seen in the Christian cross. This is a more subtle version of the Orthodox cross, however, with the upper and lower beams greatly reduced and appearing as an extended portion on the vertical line. The piece is crafted from a stainless steel silver material and carries a black inlay where an image of Jesus is engraved.
